Shatin residents get Covid advice hotline: Medical-sector legislator, David Lam, says around 100 people made use of a new hotline to provide Covid patients with medical advice, on the first day of its launch on Thursday. The initiative was announced by a group of lawmakers, in response to overloaded government helplines. Patients with mild symptoms who are stranded at home can use Whatsapp to send in questions, and one of 20 private doctors participating in the scheme can call back with advice.
